Soundsculpture that I made in collaboration with Pam Toonen as part of the exhibition “PretPark” at the Mediamatic Amsterdam.
Every time the box is opened, it plays a different soundfile. There are 120 different sounds in the box.The box looks completely empty on the inside. Speaker and laptop are hidden in the back of the box, invisible from the outside.
The sounds are triggered by a photocell that is connected to a max patch in a laptop through an Arduino.
